I have made the monumental decision....! (With the sensible help from her indoors)
Having "mothballed" my Rover 75 some time ago, because it was low mileage, number 16 off the production line, better than showroom condition and having every conceivable extra fitted, including a complete wood trim setup and an Aubergine leather interior...... I have decided to sell off the Range Rover P38, use the 75 for (most) every day use, and use the P5 for those special occasions and towing our classic Cheltenham Caravan, or Vanroyce. Other journey's I can use my wife’s (really, one of my earlier toys) Limited PT cruiser.
Some line up eh! I really must stop buying vehicles....
Oh! and add to the list.... a very early classic American Airstream 310 Motor Home that I bought in Texas ten years ago, now over 30 years old and is a good as the day it was bourne!
Am I mad or what? I do look on them as my pension fund - as a justification - so now I will have to stop practising this retirement lark and try it out (nearly) full time!
