Thanks - removed so that the numbers become clarified. Have been in contact now with simonbbc who i think is Powerspark with a view to buying electronic adaption.

Ive just fitted a NOS distributor and modified coil , had it set up on a dyno the results to me are outstanding . Each to there own.

Hi Roy The machine the mechanic used was a big old box of tricks ,possibly from the 80 s , that i believe was called a dyno . Rolling road not used. I live in Spain ,,,, nice weather here by the way :-P

I assumed it was the same thing Dean. We call them a dynomometer or dyno for short although the name isn't specific to the type driven by a car's wheels on rollers. I assumed that rolling road was the term used over there for the same thing.
