This site is a huge improvement over the last one and I log in most days for a look or a contribution. The problem seems to be a low number of replies in relation to the number of hits to a topic. The same valued and interesting people have their say but their numbers could be counted on the fingers of Jeremy Beadles left hand !! If I post a reply or a new topic,I can predict fairly accurately who will respond. Where are all the unknown people who hit the site but never say anything? I suppose it could be the same people who reply simply revisiting the site again and again! I would enjoy reading some contributions from "new" people. Richard Eglinton

Richard,
Good evening! Sorry you have been ignored.
At least you now have a reply.
Regards,
Peter

Hello, I'm out here but it's best to be thought a fool by remaining silent than prove it by making a contribution (I think that is a pre internet missquote). Seriously, I contribute when I have something to say or ask but if people are looking then it has to be a good start and I look every day. Geoff

I try not to open my mouth unless I have something interesting to say. Similarly, I don't post unless I feel I have a worthwhile contribution to make. Then we would end up with so much dross that we can't see the wood for the trees. I'm not ignoring people, so please don't be offended.

I like the others only post when I have something to say however as this is my first full restoration project I can only ask the questions. I have found this site a valuable vault of information. I log on every day and enjoy the general banter as well as the much needed information. I Hope that more and more people will come to use the site. All the best Éamonn

I too like the others only post when I have something to say mainly I can only ask the questions as while I have owned a few rovers P6 and SD1s this is the first I have done much work on. I am lucky to have high speed internet at work and home and so can check easially and often usually several times a day. I have found this site a valuable especially the pictures and also enjoy the general banter as well as the much needed information. I believe we have a lot of silent viewers who read and digest the information I read nearly every post as most contain information I might one day need. The site does much to promote the p5 as a classic and with pictures will help to get people interested in our cars. People will come to use the site and like myself might read and learn for a long time before posting a question or reply as I did on the old board RIP.
Regards

Well....I'm not saying anything As the lighter evenings come round, i spend less and less time with the PC, and more outside. Its more a winter thing for me. It is nice though, to be able to contact fellow enthusiasts and engage in trivial banter, because even though a subject goes off topic, you can still find out what you want to know. Thats why its good when a lot of people are involved, although the downside is that theres a lot more to read, and it takes more time.
