Hi guys, looking for your collective genius to solve a problem for me please. i replaced the side/parking light switch yesterday and got a little spark while moving the binnacle, now my interior lights and horn don't work and my clock has stopped (but the clock still lights up) I've replaced fuse 1-2 to no avail. HELP PLEASE? thanks in advance, john

If you have replaced fuses, and they are OK, just do a quick double check that the connector that caused the flash is still in good condition. Sometimes if the wires are frayed a short could burn out the remainder. I would check the fuses again first though. If you have a multimeter, make sure you have voltage each side of the fuse, and of course continuity of the fuse. One last thing the crimp connectors are prone to bad continuity - Give 'em a wiggle! Hi Chuck, very many thanks for your pointers, I rechecked the fuses and found a seperate in-line fuse that was blown. I changed it and the horn, interior lights and the clock are now all working again . I love it when there's a simple solution!

Worth knowing about that other fuse though....
