Hi Dean,I've got a plan to get it past your Mrs................
Put deep button upholstery in both sides of the rear load area & tell her that it'll be the best modern (ish) Landau money earner along the prom. Something along the lines of A Big (Spanish) Gypsy Wedding sort of thing!
Let us all know how you get on with your wiring issues after you got it back from the body shop.

Just a bit of advice to anyone thinking about going to view the P4 pickup.............don't bother!
Earlier today I went to view the vehicle for somebody else who lives quite a distance away. I arranged with the seller 'Dave' to view/inspect/take pictures during Sunday afternoon & he said that if he wasn't there then knock on number 6 next door. So with a 70 mile round trip I find myself there in the pouring rain & the garage deserted, knocked on number 6 next door a few times but no answer and phoned 'Dave' the seller but no answer. I combined the journey with a visit to my girlfriends mother who lives a few miles away so not a completely wasted journey BUT cheesed off that someone who is selling a vehicle and arranged a viewing could treat a possible sale in this manner.

You're welcome Dean, shame that the seller wasn't around as promised. The pictures I took through the locked gates from about 30' away through the locked gates showed the car to be rather grim. It would be nice to see it saved or even restored to it's former glory but I think that the costs would be quite high. After all it's not as if it's a rare/desirable Aston Martin or Ferrari etc. It was listed as previously being owned by the P4 Owners Club as their parts collection vehicle, surprised that no one has popped up on here to add any information about it.
