Hi Guys From the day I got my p5b 1972 rover saloon the interior lights have not worked. Had a couple of days to play over xmas , Clock works, Cig lighter works so fuse is ok under dash, I have looked at all connectors that had purple wires in, all giving 12volt. Interior lights removed, all 4, no power on purple wires, also lights in headrest has no power. looked in workshop manual this pointed to the first light in line would be passenger front, from what I have found so far the cables run to rear passenger light first and come up from boot area. I cant find a connector in that area, any help where the connectors are hidden, to prove things are working, I linked a wire from clock purple wire to front passenger purple wire, all door lights worked when correct doors open, headrest lights still did not work. Anyone had problem like this before and know where the connectors are Thanks Neil

Neil from memory the door/interior light loom is fed from the main loom at the rear passenger side so check there? if no supply check the main loom connections passenger side under the kick panel normal problem probably corrosion in a bullet connector? good luck

There are also a bunch of connectors tucked high up inside the n/s A panel (remove the trim)

Right up underneath the parcel shelf above the tank - access by removing boot tank trim board
