It was interesting to read Richard Stennett's piece on electrics in December's Take Five as I had started to fit an extra fuse box myself. I fitted the 4 way fuse box to the bulkhead between the heater box and the blower motor, I went for the glass fuse type, it has a live feed to run the hazard lights and the rest are ignition control which runs the electric fan not Kenlow so it is 5.4 amps, the electric pump (1.5 amps) also runs off the new box and the feed goes to a relay which is on the inner wing (see photo). Two 21 amp cables (brown in photo) feed the new box from battery control and ignition control, my car had 35 amp fuse and 25 amp fuse when I bought the car and they looked very old. All cables were fed through the bulkhead behind the trim at the back of the parcel shelf.
