Talk about a long shot but does anyone live locally to, or drive past, Shaftesbury in Dorset on their way towards Brighton at all..?? in a van or lorry? !! Or would they be able to collect and store the below for me for a few weeks?? The reason I ask is that I've just won an ebay auction for a folding tent pram type temporary garage. It folds flat into a large U shape approx 2.4m x 2m and is tubular metal with a tarpaulin strapped to it. I am passing on weds 19th March in a normal car and will need to chop the loops off the top (in order to fit it in pieces in the car). Then I'll have to sleeve the metal tubes and fix them to use it which is not ideal! Im also trying to get a courier quote to collect - but had a silly one so far at £350!! If anyone is passing anytime over the next few weeks in a vehicle big enough to take this whole, I would be more than happy to pay them a decent fee to bring it to me in Brighton? Please let me know on here or PM me. The seller has just told me he wants it gone by 19th Many thanks Roy

Roy just to screw the courier I'll do it for 349. This includes truck hire, girlfriend, hotel, food drink and entertainment for the whole two weeks. If you want to join us it will however be more than 349.

You say that but van hire is between £30 and £50.. If anyone can collect and take this in for me for a couple of weeks I'll pay rent!! Its either that or I have to chop it up and fix it with metal sleeves when I get home...

Well done Roy absolutely the right decision. Van might not be so nice but you are all the richer for your decision! Have a good trip!
