HI All, I have picked up my P5B and overall it is not too bad. It has been partly restored with the engine and gearbox being replaced. The problem I have is not all the pipes are connected on the engine and gearbox. If you go to the following website www.m535i.co.uk/rover_p5b.htmYou will see the pics of the pipes (Click on the image to enlarge). I do not know how they should be connected any help would be great. Many Thanks David

Hi there, Pic 1, only used if the car is still fitted with an AED.
Pic 2, swap the air cleaner elbows over and fit a 90 degree hose between the pipes.
Pic 3, there should be a hose from the air filter housing to a fuel filter (engine breather) in a bracket on the rear of the inlet manifold, and then to a pipe from the rear of the block
Pic 4, if that's by the gearbox that looks like disconnected fuel or gearbox cooler pipes.
Hope this is of some help
PS keep that bloke with his blue paint away from it in the future! Good luck with your new purchase.

It could well be that the pics have been deleted from the website, and so on-one can access them .
