hi all. not used the rover since doing the prop shaft mounts. Took her out today for a quick spin and the is a very bad virbraction coming from the prop shaft Its really bad at 30mph to 45mph. I had a look underneath and all is tight and where it should be.
All the old bushes were broken so im wondering if the prop is out of balance or something which caused the bushes to bake in the 1st place???
Anyone els come across this before??

More likley a seized UJ joint - disconnect each one, start at the axle and check they are free to swivel without any tight spots or sloppiness

I have exactly the same problem. I have found adodgy uv joint in the middle and hope to replace it. Not sure whether the judder was caused by it or the judder cause the joint to collapse. Never fitted uv joint before so here goes !! mandl@mandlmorris.wanadoo.co.uk Martyn

Just got the 2200TC back on the road with her temporary 2000SC installed (& a very nice gearbox pleasingly) & theres an annoying rythmic squeak which could be a UJ. Have to check that out.
