Crikey Roy, that's going back a bit, good to browse over though. Can we see some pictures of your convertible? I'd be interested to see what's been done and how the best way to do it.

I did have a couple of pictures on here but probably long gone when imagecave went down.. Steve I'd love to say I have a ream of photos of work done to create the convertible. Sadly I don't. It was started by Elys of Cambridge in 1991 where they 'concoursed' the running gear and engine bay and made it a 2 door. and charged handsomly for the job. It survived a garage arson attack in the 90s with scorching but nothing else was done to it. From there it dissappeared off the scene for a while and had the roof chopped off behind the windscreen. I saw it advertised on here..probably around 6-8 years ago?? It has since had precisely nothing done apart from evaluation from me!! I put that down to a narrow garage and having a family plus house moves.. It needs more strengthening and the door length altering, it needs a roof mechanism sorting and how the side windows will work. If you want to see good photos of how things should be done then I suggest you take a look at Enigmas thread in the other makes part of the forum. Good practical stuff and the same process I will be going through of moving b/c posts and sectioning doors... Recommended viewing

Tell me about it! Once my new garage and drive is built it will be up on ramps and full steam ahead... At the moment I have a slopey garden, an old greenhouse and several tons of hardcore sitting where the drive and garage will be!

Good luck with the build, or maybe get in touch with Titmarsh and the groundforce team

My P5b was in my partners front garden getting wet {it never gets wet} unless it was washday. My C5 could get up the drive with the suspension raised. But was worth the wait, as you will find out Roy.
