Hi all i have just got a eezibleed to bleed the brakes on my p5b but there is not a cap big enough in the kit does some one know where i can get a cap from Allso is it ok to use a eezibleed on a p5b thanks

I assume you mean the large plastic type? With the bean can type I sued an old one with the fitting screwed in.
Its quite OK to use these devices on P5's and P5B's although I have not had much success so I use a cheap 50p rubber tube blocked one end with a slit in it - this never fails!

I've used one on may cars including my P5B with great success.
It's still worth jacking up each side at the rear to get rid of the air trapped in the pipe that goes across the rear banjo though. Someone wrote an article in Take five about this some time ago.

I thought there was a suitable cap when I bought my kit, sometimes you have to send away for them. It can be difficult to get a non leaking seal when the cap is fitted. They are useful for re filling the system after a drain or replacing the fluid, but you may need to discard it and uses the simpler 'tube with a slit in it' to get rid of any lingering air.

I got a one-man bleeding kit from my local factor for a fiver which is basically a bottle & tube with a non-return valve which you attach to the nipple then pump the pedal yourself. You just have to keep the resovoir topped up. It works well & is less hassle than the Eezibleed which, as already stated, can be difficult to seal at the cap & you don't have to get your spare wheel out either.
