Can anyone give me an opinion on the wiper blades sold by Wadhams please? That's the full blade; not just the rubber insert.
For example, do they have the flexibility to wrap the tip around the curve of the windscreen on the driver's side? (Actually, that's assuming that the originals did this).
I'd like some sort of impartial guidance before I order something from the diagonally opposite corner of the globe. Particularly if it turns out to be little different from a Trico or similar blade I can buy here.

Wiper blades with stainless steel framework as per Aston Martin DB5 will fit!!
Try Tex or Trico brands.

Thanks Freddy. I'll try Trico.........or keep my eye out for a DB5 left unattended.

Bought some NOS ones on ebay two or three months ago. They are perfect and are apparently the same as fitted to the Princess and Jag Mk 11's. Steer clear of the ones you see with a plastic fitting to take the arm, they are cheap but don't fit properly and flop about.

Examine NOS carefully, particularly where there is a rubber component because they can be perished as I once found out to my cost after purchasing replacement wiper blades. They lasted no time at all.

Thanks. I think mine are original arms and blades and they are reasonably good, so I probably only need inserts.
Does anyone know if the tip of the RH blade ever curled around the curve of the screen when the cars were new?

Doubt it - I buy whole pairs of wiper blades from £1 shops remove the rubber and cut to length for inserting in the old frames. This way I can cheaply change the whole fleet every year. Perished blades can end up scratching an expensive screen besides making wet day driving tedious for those that do take their cars out in the wet

Thanks; that's all I was concerned about really. Getting wiper inserts isn't difficult, but most have plastic spines these days and aren't quite as flexible as the old-style with the thin stainless "ladder" spine. Most windscreens are virtually flat now.
Early blades could flex around the corner of a lot of '60s curved glass, but the P5's screen corners are quite tight, so I thought it likely that the blades never followed them close to the bottom. That being the case I'll just get some suitable modern inserts.
