I've been watching this excellent series for the last 3 weeks and last night brought us to the late 60's early 70's, in otherwords P5B times at no 10. Some quite good shots of the cars in use and particularly of Ted Heath and his P5B getting a dose of red paint by a disgruntled member of the public ;D Whenever Ted was in the comfort of his Rover, there seemed to be at least 1000 miners trying to join him!! Next week moves to the arrival of Mrs T so a few more shots to come I should think. I remember seeing some footage a long time ago of Michael Foot getting out of the rear of a P5B, shutting the door to the sound of the door trim clattering to the pavement

There was one in what must have been late 67 early 68 in I suppose the 1st P5B PM car with the late HW getting out of it - by the time Mrs Thatcher came to use them they were well worn and the ministry still had quite a few in use by senior civil servants etc
