I had to read your post twice to understand you meant a jack point. I had visions of you with a trolley jack raising the car with an I POD attached to a Jacking Point I suppose you could have a word with the freindly people from Halfords? but I would probably look in Yellow pages for an alternative source.

You will not get an AM radio converted to FM different front end and IF etc the only way is to find a classic style Mono FM radio or go modern I am busy fitting a concealed modern in mine the biggest problem is the speakers as I dont want to see them or cut holes I think I have it sussed now

I thought that Vintage Wireless did exactly that - I have seen some at car shows - he uses one of the Long Wave buttons

An FM radio is a 10.7Mhz AM is 470Kcs IF,the RF amp and mixer oscillator are different so unless you add these to the AM in block form I would have thought it was an engineering impossibility I suppose you could fit an internal FM module but I cant see how you would relate the tunning dial to what you want to find Just had a GOOGLE they strip out the old board and fit in a modern board to keep the retro look not cheap

They have found a solution - £120! I seem to think! Not for me though
