Hello all
After hearing there is a shortage of front brake pads for our cars, (even Past Parts have asked my advice of where to get them from!!), i have brought in 5 sets from Australia. They are available at £48 per set. Tried a couple of sets earlier on this year and they seem to be OK.
Also, just taken in 3 P5b Coupes that really should not be broken up, one has had all the bodywork (sills, d posts, panels) done but needs recommissioning and putting back together. Another has a superb buckskin interior, engine and gearbox but has body issues and the other one (53K on the clock) needs engine and door attention, again with a good saddletan interior and has a good chassis. All for sale before i start breaking them.

Glad to hear about the pads - and do not tempt me with any more cars!

I drove past Phil's house a couple of weeks ago and he had the Rover Main Dealer Sign up...and it was illuminated ;D
Too be honest I would like to accquire another P5/B but the time is not right at the moment. I hate seeing them broken if they are good enough to be saved but the head must rule the heart.

Hi David, could you post an indication of price for these cars otherwise it all seems to be a bit cloak and dagger... Thanks Roy

Roy
They are all worth close to £2000 to break. With good coupes hopefully worth £8-9K when finished, an input of £4K ish something can be made out of them for the time trouble.

David Green 01284 788269 Depends which brand you got David. If it's the ones with the redgum friction material, they do smoke a bit under heavy braking and you may find any nearby Australian panicking; thinking there is a bushfire approaching. And watch out for termites if the car is laid up for any period of time. Warwick.
