Could anyone tell me if there is any difference in the size of the door hinges on the back or front doors? They look the same. Cheers Colin

I just spent an evening finding this out!
I bought 2 nos hinges off eBay. To cut a long story short I was dealing with a drooping drivers door and I can state the lower and upper hinges are different.
I bought 2 lower hinges but the seller said they were the same. After an alarming evening mucking about with shims I had to refit my original top hinge. Luckily for me the wear appears to have been all in the lower huge as you might expect!
My drivers door has never fitted well and I'd say either it's not original or something has happened in the past. When I bought the car there was damage to the door leading edge and wing trailing edge. Shims have fixed most of the problem but I had to replace the lower a post as well due to rust and alignment has been tricky.
I low have a spare lower hinge for the passenger door when I need it!
I wonder if roll pin replacement is possible with these hinges as they look mechanically simple!

Too much work Barry! Obtain some artist's mountboard card and some hole punches. Make several spacers using the hinge as a guide. Fit the spacer between the lower hinge and the A or B pillar depending upon the door you're doing. If the door has dropped this will re-establish it's alignment. NB. The hinges on my car are alloy, so it's not always/necessarily the hinge pin. This method will re-align the doors. It may take several card shims. My car is very well used and the method works (permanently) for me...and all the doors close nicely. You'll then have time to fettle/refurbish your new hinges if you still want to go there!
