The Kent Rover Pub Meet has moved from the Four Lymes Hawley Road to the Paper Makers Arms Hawley Road DA2 7RB still the last Wed in the month at 8pm. This is about a mile further on Hawley Rd and almost next to Hawley Garden Centre, they are also happy to serve coffee if required.
The Four Lymes is morphing into a Chinese restaurant so I have been told. I committed to always be there by 8pm years ago when I took the defunct Kent Meet on, except icy road conditions which I wouldn't ask anyone to attend and no December Meet (Christmas Week) by Landlord's request (too busy) but it would be nice to see a few more Rover Owners who are rather thin on the ground locally as I am running short of library books now I don't expect Owners to bring their cars if not convenient just themselves, because I can't take my own owing to tricky garaging after dark (not my house garage) I am hoping to see few more Rover faces but I am also considering inviting any make of Classic Cars if Rover Owners are not attending.

Turned up at 8 O'clock and waited till 9... No one turned up!!!
Perhaps the P5 owners are not as enthusiastic as the P6 crowd as we would never had failed to attend a meeting, waste of time and effort and who ever the Stonerover or Lone rover is... not good

Chris,
The problem could be that the original post is just over 2 years old, and Stonerover hasn't logged in for just under 2 years. This pub meet may not have taken place since then. Someone should be able to clarify this, and if it is now defunct, the thread should be updated or deleted.

Jaluky, probably best to check the date of posting first. I am sad to say that Stonerover passed away a while back. Currently we do not have a Regional Rep for this area but the pub meet is still listed in Take Five. The pub meet information for Kent any other regions can also be found on the Rover P5 Club website: PUB MEETS AND REGIONAL REPS

I had no idea David. I'm stunned. Was this widely known?
