I AM BLEEDING THE BRAKES ON MY P5B,AFTER FINDING A SLIGHT WEEP ON THE FRONT FLEXI PIPE.WHEN I SLACKEN THE FRONT BLEED SCREW,THERE IS STILL A LOT OF PEDAL PRESSUR NEEDED TO EXPEL FLUID.THE BLEEN SCREW IS CLEARAND THE FLEXI PIPE IS CLEAR.NORMALLY WHEN I HAVE DONE THIS ON OTHER CARS,THE PEDAL GOES DOWN QIUTE EASILY. ANY COMMENTS. ???BEFORE ANY ONE SAYS,I DONT THINK THIS IS A RG MOD

Check that the flexi has not collapsed internally - you cannot tell without removal. If OK, whilst its off or even immediately after undoing the union on the subframe as this has to be released first check that fluid is expelled easily to check that there is no brake line blockage or crush.
If those tests are clear then remove the caliper and recondition it

You can't be too careful with the brake system especially since it's only a single circuit. By weep from the front flex hose you mean only at the connecting union to the caliper and not any part of the hose? Considering the age of the hoses replacement is always a good option. Since you're bleeding part(?) of the system, flushing out the old fliud and expelling it at all the bleed points would be worthwhile for added insurance.
Lock off the offending hose with a clamp or simply retighten it and then slacken off at the connection to the brake line from the master cyl. If the pedal is easily depressed after loosening the union at this point the hose is faulty or possibly you're not opening the bleed screw enough. Another option is to remove the bleed screw and place your thumb over the opening. Have an assistant depress the pedal gently and fluid should easily be expelled...your thumb will form a way one valve (although it may be a bit messy).
