I now have a new Scott's coupe rear rubber, but I cannot for the life of me see which way the profile fits onto a .the screen and b.the body surround . Please does anyone have a pic which shows the correct orientation ? Edit : I am now wondering whether the earlier fitment was inside out/wrong way round , as I am told can happen ?

You really can't go wrong if the screen is in the deepest section/groove in the seal the lip on the inside is the smaller of the two, have you managed to get the inside lip to fit snugly on the inside of the screen opening?

John : thank you - I have taken the plunge and installed it like this - which seems to correspond with the drawing in the workshop manual - but as yet the interior seal is untidy particularly at the corners Is this correct ?

It looks correct you really have to do a lot of pushing and pulling!!

John : Many thanks . I am going to let it settle over the next day or two and then give it a good few pushes, shoves and bangs with the flat of the hand . The outside seems fine but the inner face is sticking out horizontally on a high proportion of the surround . I had not realised until I tried it that , unlike the majority of installations, the screen really only lies in the channel rather than having the seal being wrapped over the lip of the bodyshell to secure it ( and it still looks as though it is really only secured to the shell at the bottom of the screen , the upper clips serving apparently only to secure the stainless trims )

David,
That's great! Front/rear for P5 MKI Saloon 1961? If so, I worded them immediately. Please advise price, delivery and method of payment.
Many thanks Frans
