Hi Eric
You will find it in the inside front page, at the end of the list of contacts.

Me too. For the first time as a member I tried to access the members only area using the latest password in the August magazine with no success. Thought it was me!!

Odd. Just tried it and it worked fine for me.
There were two passwords, one for the National, the other for this form.

Thanks David - tried again - same invalid password. I am using the one on p2 of the issue 178 which says: MEMBERS ONLY FORUM: A section for club members ONLY can be found on the club forum. The password is two numerical and two alphas in upper case.

I cannot see anything to resolve. Having checked it again and asked a few others to do the same, it works fine for them without any issues. Perhaps you have some 'anti' software, which for some reason is not allowing you to access the members section?
Anyone other club member having a problem?

Just a thought - is Eric trying this using the pro boards app on iPad?
I've said before that I have same problem. It works fine through a browser but not in this app.
IMHO The pro boards app is a far better way of viewing the forum on a tablet and cuts out the heavy navigation you need on a browser. There are a good few other bugs in the app but I still use it nightly to check in !

Hi - I'm not young enough to use those new-fangled devices - just an old fashioned desktop/tower pc! I use Chrome/Google browser but I only have difficulty in this one aspect. I don't recall ever wanting to visit Members area before so i cant say that it has worked in the past. No matter then but thanks to those who have shown an interest in the matter.

some five months later this problem persists.February magazine says password is C****O in bold caps but no access to the specialist providers page - a bit annoying when all I seek if a gearbox specialist! While Im at it, is it default that if you click on a image you have to log out and in again to go to the next one?

Not a problem here with the password Eric. Anyone else?
And no you do not have to log in each time to view an image. Once viewed click on the 'return' arrow (top left hand corner) to return to the forum.

... While I'm at it, is it default that if you click on a image you have to log out and in again to go to the next one? That's an easy trap to fall into Eric. It still happens to me now and then on various sites. I have to pay attention to how the photo is opened on the particular website I am viewing. With some, clicking on the photo opens the photo separately so all you do is click on the X in the corner to close it. If however the photo is opened by moving to a new web page, when you click on the X in the corner, you're actually closing your browser, so as David says, you have to use the browser's Back arrow and go back to the previous page.

thanks Warwick. It seems sometimes i click on the image which appear top left of screen but covers my top tool-bar so i cant left arrow. Eventually i have to click top right kiss which as you say kicks me from the site. Thanks again for your interest.

I haven't encountered that problem Eric. Can the photo be dragged away from the top corner to expose the browser's arrows, or is it fixed there?

It's on page 2 of the April edition of "Take Five" As this information is covered by the Official Secrets Act 1989 (c.6) I can't disclose it on this forum but if you email David he will check that you are in the lodge and reveal the password. ****************************************** many thanks, i found it, i have to admit i haven't had much chance to read the April take five fully yet, i have been nursing the fingers back from all the hits they got from fitting new furflex and a new carpet along with sending the seats for some re-stitching they say the leather is in good condition and cleaning and Connollising will bring the seats back to a very good standard.
