Any standard stranded T pull cable will do - Europa does one not sure as to length though and its not authentic so multi Concours fail points

We've all been there. One job leads to another! Grill off and managed to get the "new" cooler in situ today but I noticed that the bonnet release cable is several strands short of a full cable and has probably lost 50% of its original diameter. I know that JRW does a replacement but I'm wondering whether it's possible just to renew the cable as I don't want to buy the whole unit unless there's no alternative. Anybody done this? It takes a bit of time Richard but you can with needle files channel out the T bar and solder a new cable in I used a suitable cable outer and inner from a motorcycle accessory shop

A small tip when cutting Bowden cable to replace the bonnet pull or other, use either a plasma cutter or a welder to burn through it. That way the strands of the cable are welded together at the end. If you also apply the earth to the part being disposed off, you minimse de-tempering of the bit you are keeping.

Few would notice and there are worse! The ends could be filed but of course RoveR owners were assumed to have learnt to read so did not need a picture
