A bit of a long shot given that P5s seem a bit thin on the ground up here but I'm looking for a P5 savvy body shop in West Yorkshire to do some restoration work and full respray. Any recommendations?

Here's an interesting one for you, i've just got back from Luxembourgh to fit a full re-trim on a 1973 P5b, and this one has 'TWO' fuel filler caps like the old xj6's and looks absolutely fantastic! Its one of the best full restoration i've ever seen, its not finished yet, they're doing the rear screen rubber while i was there and have to do some slight door alignment, looks like if us british want a decent job on our british cars we gotta get out to europe and vote to stay in the EU! lol . No john the other cap is not for LPG, its blanked at the bottom where the hose would normally start. But the actual pressing for the cap i'm convinced is original, either someone used an original pressing for N/S and cut it in the O/S or Rover done it for some reason as i'm convinced it was one of the last ones off the line as there are some interior trim differences, by that i mean different materials used but in my opinion done by rover as special tooling would have been required, but ironically although i,ve done several P5 full interiors they have all been 64 to 71 models and never done a 73 model so maybe those changes were made in 72 or 73 i wouldn't know nor would i have looked out for it at the odd rover rally i've been to.

I hope someone else can remember this modification I am sure it was for LPG the DS filler was a transplant from another car
