I did a search on this site and could not find an answer to this question so I hope I am not asking something that has been discussed at length previously. I was told that the good people at Rover used 3 kinds of material to create the interiors of our cars - Leather
- Leather cloth? (is that the same as imitation leather ) and
- Plastic
As I am about to embark on giving the seats the Woolies Treatment ;D my two questions are: - Is that correct?
- Which parts of the seats are covered in what?

In my car (which I think may have been retrimmed in the past) all the back seat parts are leather. In the front the seat backs and squabs are leather. The back panel of the front seats are leather cloth. The under parts of the seat squab are leather cloth.
I found that the Woolies cleaner did a fair job of cleaning the leather cloth. The dye was usefull for touching up the plastic cloth scratches.
I fould it best to take the seats out and do them.
I'm currently doing the rest of the leather in the car - its starting to look good. Doing the wood next!
