Looking good! What did you put on the valance once it was to the bare metal?

Cracking work there fella - its all very interesting...especially as I took my Silver-Birch Coupe over to my friends to be repainted this afternoon myself! (and funnily enough, I import and restore WW2 Jeeps for a living!)
Can I ask, which area are you in please?...I ask, as I'm thinking of having the front and rear bumpers on my '38 Rover-12 powder-coated in 'chrome' temporarily, as I'd sooner divert the funds needed for rechroming them, into my coupe' but id like to see the finish 'in the flesh' first!
Keep up the good work...
Guy.

No updates currently as still need to pick my front wings up
I have purchased a pair of chassis skates so car can be moved around the workshop with ease as it’s a heavy old lump to move when it’s not running
hoping to collect the wings in the next couple of weeks and then body can be painted

Had a lot of parts powder coated in black. Didn't know this chrome finish exsisted. They look good!

Once the semi gloss black centres are painted I think they will look superb, not quite got the lustre of chrome but I think it’s a better option than rechroming at the price they charge

This morning I went and collected the new front wings Bolted them on loosely so they don’t get knocked or damaged looks better already! I should hope so for the price

Are they new old stock wings? Yes something I don’t want to be buying in the future again! To repair the originals would probably be two weeks work! Rears where also nos but came with car, but because they where bought 20 odd years ago needed some small repairs so major parts now new pretty much
