As you all know, the National this year is being held at Brooklands. The West London Region are hosting it and we had our "Planning"meeting last night in the pub(best place) ;D
We are pondering over what sort of numbers we may expect through the gate on the day. Who's coming from the Forum?
Big Kev.

Even without the price of petrol on its upward spiral it too far for us - we went in 1996? It was a good place then aprat from the confusing/conflicting signage from ?Tescos which had quite a few cars going round in circles (which cannot be done on the track now!)

I will have to reassess the feasibility of attending on the Saturday preceeding. It is a full 1.7 miles from the front door of my garage to the Brooklands Museum entrance. The route does not offord an opportunity to exceed 47mph, therefore the old bus'll not change up into fourth and 'economy' (relative) mode. At, let's say, a choke-out, 20mpg (very optimistic) and Premium Unleaded two-and-a-half Star at $130 a barrell/£1-17.9p per litre, it'd cost me a bank-breaking 45.6p EACH WAY. Am I guaranteed a prize? Will I get free English Breakfast tea? To whom should I forward an invoice for out of pocket expenses? I have booked, but should like to claim back the cost of a second class postage stamp. On another note, when's the Earls Court GBBFest.? I can remember going a few years ago. I have absolutely no recollection of coming back. Can I let you know nearer the time Big Boy?

I should make the effort, seeing as it's within the M25. I could even bring more than one car.

I'll be there with two P6's (3500 Auto and 2000TC) though I haven't returned the form yet. (Can I apply for both cars on one form)?
Cheers Mick
