Most web site,s are there for the good of all, why is this one so...well two classed..? I have been on here for a short while and every one has been verry help full, but a few thing,s bother me.!
If presavation of the P5 is so important why is there no free data on keeping the old girl going..?
I got to say this specal members only side is a bit well 2 classed.
It is my own opinion but I would like to know how the rest of you fee about it.?

Hi Kanter, thanks for your questions.
I think the links Warwick supplied may cover it.
We have a Rover P5 Club Members Only Section for any special offers, discounts and souvenirs the club can offer to club members only. Most, if not all information, is made freely available to anyone who may visit the site.
So I am afraid I cannot understand your disappointment. This forum is open to all, be they register or not. There is no cost to anyone to join, but there are great benefits in being able to access the wealth of knowledge accumulated here.
As this is a general question and query I will move it to a more appropriate section.

To be honest there is nothing much in the members only section anyway,I think the last time there was a post in there the P5 was still rolling off the line.

My 2d: - I don't have a P5 yet - but I have got a lot of useful and helpful information from this forum on some of the pitfalls (and joys) of a P5/P5b - I am not put off by the members only area - this to me is quite understandable and so far I don't feel I am missing out. I visit many forums and this is one of the best in my opinion - swift and comprehensive answers no matter who you are. So well done to all contributors for making it so! To me the internet is, as it was originally set up, about knowledge sharing and this forum is a good example of that - keep it up please! When I do get a P5b I will no doubt join the club - and be happy to pay dues for the additional benefits and company that brings.

Hi to all, think of this forum as a gift to the newcomers/youth – like me! I like to drive my P5b and i will spent a lot of money in it - to show it to the public every day (daily driver). So finding people with the same interest - like me - need a place, where they can exchange their knowledge/opinions and when getting older – i can help the next generation. The biggest issue is that a lot of companys like Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin have problems finding owners like us helping the company to survive. I am not rich and cant effort a expensive car! But who can buy a car which costs thousands of pounds/euro/dollars and still has enough money for his family??? A lot of clubs will not survive because they are getting too expensive and the members do not find younger enthusiasts/members!!! Merry christmas Joachim-Uwe P.S. Like other had posted " So well done to all contributors for making it so!"
